Findrinny: Festival of New Irish Songs and Sounds, is an exploration of contemporary Irish identity through musical expression. Incorporating traditional music, storytelling, experimentalism, and theatre. Six diverse acts will perform across two nights in PAS, a music venue and art space, beloved and highly active home to experimental arts in Berlin. The program is presented and curated by Joey Gavin, an Irish musician and curator based in Berlin.

Growler (Storytelling, Experimental)
Junior Brother (Songwriter, Experimental)

Programme Saturday 7th September, doors 8pm:
Dylan Kerr (Experimental)
Mark Loughrey (Songwriter)
Kilfenora Road Show (Theatre)

Both nights will close with a set from musical globetrotter, DJ and broadcaster Donal Dineen.

Junior Brother: An idiosyncratic, challenging and richly lyrical singer/ songwriter.

Kilfenora Road Show: Theatre, led by a collaboration of musicians, singers and dancers. Incorporating archival material.

Growler: 82-year-old drum banging, shamanic alchemist, who transmutes women’s pain through storytelling, song and spoken word.

Dylan Kerr: An Irish artist based in Berlin. Working within improvisation, process composition, and just intonation.

Mark Loughrey: Irish folksinger and multi-instrumentalist based in Berlin

Sonny Casey: Contemporary folk, Connemara born, Sonny’s work is sung in English and Gaeilge.

Donal Dineen (DJ – Vinyl Set): Irish radio presenter, multidisciplinary artist from County Kerry.
