The Kiezsalon offers a forum for innovative musical activity beyond the boundaries of genre. As an interface between avant-garde, advanced pop music and interdisciplinary art, the series presents compact shows by artists of diverse styles, origins and statuses. After eight years, the Kiezsalon has established itself as one of the most popular and successful series in Berlin, so far hosting more than 220 acts from 42 countries.
This weekend edition of Kiezsalon returns to our familiar stomping grounds, the Musikbrauerei. Following Friday’s lineup it continues Saturday with a focus on Irish music. Traversing the nation’s diverse artistic landscape, we will present dreamy blues revivalist Muireann Bradley making her Berlin debut, experimental pop artist Henry Earnest, electronic music newcomer producer Conor and visual artists Helena Hamilton and Ireland 3000.
