Nestled in the stunning landscape of the West Kerry Gaeltacht, Dingle is a town renowned for its dolphins, food, breweries and distilleries as well as its world-class scene of traditional Irish music and folk music.
After the great tour success in autumn 2022, the musicians of Dingle FolkFest on Tour will tour Germany again in January 2024. Teresa Horgan (vocals & flute), Michael Coult (vocals & whistles/flute), Éilís Kennedy (vocals) and Matt Griffin (guitar) will enchant their audience with their rich harmonies and beautiful voices and present musical images from the west of County Kerry.

Michael Coult has been playing tin whistle, flute, guitar and bodhran since he was a child. He has learnt from various masters of the Irish musical tradition including Matt Molloy, Brian Finnegan and Kevin Crawford. Michael has spent the last 10 years travelling with various productions and bands. During this time he has visited almost every continent – touring for years as a band member with various Irish dance productions, including the magnificent live dance production ‘Celtic Legends’.
Teresa Horgan is from County Cork and plays the flute and sings. She has recorded two albums with the award-winning Irish band ‘FullSet’ and an album with guitarist Matt Griffin entitled ‘Brightest Sky Blue’ and has also appeared on the Irish TV show ‘The Late Late Show’. She is currently a singer in “The Outside Track”. Teresa has shared the stage with The Chieftains, Declan O’Rourke, Andy Irvine, Lúnasa and other renowned acts and tours worldwide.
Éilís Kennedy is a singer/songwriter and flautist who has recorded several award-winning albums. She has hosted various music programmes on TG4 and was the subject of a documentary series “AR THÓIR AN CHEOIL” with Pauline Scanlon – known as “Lumiere”. Éilís also appeared as one of the singers in the film “Descendants”, is frequently heard on Irish radio programmes and has appeared on national television with the RTE Concert Orchestra in Live at Christmas and Béal Tuinne, as well as on “The Late Late Show” and “The Saturday Night Show”. She has given concerts all over the world, including at New York’s Carnegie Hall.
