Artists performing in the Irish Heartbeat 2024 tour

Geraldine MacGowan, Kevin Griffin & Michael Coult:
Geraldine MacGowan & Kevin Griffin are among the the pioneers of Irish folk. They initiated the folk revival during the seventies. Michael Coult accompanies the two on the guitar.

Léda:
The two young musicians stand for wild fiddle playing, spherical harp sounds, honky tonk piano
piano, goosebump-inducing vocals and wacky tap interludes. Because they are so diverse, Léda can be described without exaggeration as “a duo of a hundred sounds”.

The Armagh Rhymers:
Mumming is a kind of popular theatre. The performers wear elaborate masks made from willow branches. The Mummers perform a giant mumbo-jumbo that gets under the skin of those present. They make noise with rattles, jingle bells, play and sing.
