Ireland’s great and historic tradition of music is expressed in the soul of traditional music. Though it is an evolving art, traditional music heard with traditional instruments by traditional players has a special appeal to the hearts of Germans who long for ‘authenticity’. The Three Lads present seldom-heard melodies, harking back to an old tradition which enriches the understanding of Irish history.
